Cable protection – far more than just conduits
Cable protection – far more than just "conduits"
Different demands are placed on cable ducts depending on the application. Most of the time, they protect against various external influences. Cable ducts are probably most widely used in electrical installations. However, the range of applications and requirements for cable protection is far more comprehensive.
Cable ducts are required in mechanical engineering, , , utility vehicles, agricultural and construction machinery)systems and apparatus engineering, they are required overground (building construction) and underground (underground installations and civil engineering). Cable protection protects against mechanical and chemical influences, humidity and moisture, heat and cold, abrasion, impacts and noise – a sheer endless number of applications which does not least include robotics, telecommunications and electronics in general e. g. in high-voltage on-board electrical system. The focus is always on protecting the cable.
However, cable ducts not just protect. They create – e. g. in electrical installations – an invisible infrastructure which makes the protected cable accessible and enables subsequent modifications, replacements and additions. Cable ducts provide reliability and flexibility all-in-one and make our lives much easier in many aspects.
What characterizes us at FRÄNKISCHE – besides our wide range of standard cable protection products – is that we specialize in handling particularly difficult tasks and providing solutions for extremely challenging environmental conditions, such as very hot environments, particularly high pressure or very little space to protect a cable. We tailor and develop customer-specific solutions for these tasks.
