Electrical conduits as well as cables and wires running through several fire sections must be secured using fire stops.

Fire stop includes all protective measures preventing propagation of fire and smoke allowing the rescue of humans and animals and effective fire-fighting operations in case of fire.

BSM-E fire stop for electrical conduits

The BSM-E fire protection sleeve ensures safety in fire protection installation, since it contains intumescent material, expandable graphite, which foams with great pressure in case of fire. This intumescent material permanently seals fitting openings against fire and smoke.

The sleeve can also be retrofitted, and offers secure sealing of fire protection walls and ceilings in the event of a fire in buildings.
