One solution to all challenges

One manifold for each application and installation variant, with different connection dimensions and systems: The new FRÄNKISCHE flat manifold 6-fold for the profi-air ventilation system allows installation in different situations, even in concrete.

The first plastic manifold for installation in concrete offers extensive flexibility at the construction site. FRÄNKISCHE has developed a unique mounting system for in-situ concrete ceilings: The flat manifold can be fixed there quickly, easily and securely with the concrete formwork cover DN160 from the profi-air concrete formwork set DN160. Being suitable for residential and non-residential construction, single- and multi-family homes, pre-fabricated houses, renovation as well as floor distribution, the profi-air flat manifold 6-fold makes ventilation planning far easier for installers. They now require only one manifold for all applications, and profit from lower inventory levels, which also holds true for the wholesale.

Compatible with different pipe dimensions and systems

Whatever the circumstances at the construction site may be: The flat manifold is a solution to any challenge. Depending on the installation situation, the installers can connect it to the ventilation unit by means of three possible pipe variants (Ovalkanal, iso or metal pipe). By means of the profi-air classic connection coupling, the profi-air classic pipes can be connected in nominal widths of 63, 75 or 90.

As compared to conventional manifolds, FRÄNKISCHE makes "concealed" installation possible: If the flat manifold is installed with Ovalkanal in the in-situ concrete or filigree ceiling, no more than two round, flat covers remain visible. This is of advantage for the installers, since they do not need to install additional ventilation lines on the ceiling in mostly confined installation rooms. The end customer also benefits from the visual appeal. Alternatively, the HVAC specialists can visibly connect the flat manifold with a round pipe (iso, metal) or a space-saving Ovalkanal.

Highest degree of flexibility and easy maintenance

The flow-optimised flat manifold has six outlets for the profi-air classic ventilation pipe. By means of extension with a second manifold, as many as twelve connections become possible. "This is how we offer a solution for all applications and create unprecedented freedom for the installers," says Jürgen Rudolf, Product Manager of Heat Recovery Ventilation at FRÄNKISCHE's Building Technology Division. "With our new plastic flat manifold primarily suitable for application in concrete, we set new standards in heat recovery ventilation." No matter the installation variant: The profi-air flat manifold 6-fold is accessible via one of the three removable inspection covers DN160 without disassembling the connection system – to conduct inspection, cleaning or installation of air regulation elements.

Connection coupling with sealing for secure installation in concrete

A new element in the modified profi-air classic connection coupling is the integrated sealing. It provides air-tight connection of the coupling with the respective component, and reliably seals the manifold for the installation in concrete. Locking prevents the coupling from overtwisting. With the profi-air classic connection plug, the six outlets of the flat manifold can be opened or closed at will by means of a bayonet threaded connector. The connection coupling is compatible with the tried-and-tested profi-air classic manifold plus made of metal.

The profi-air flat manifold 6-fold is equipped with three metal angles, three inspection covers and four profi-air classic connection plugs. Optional accessories from the profi-air range of products ensure installation in all situations: Along with the concrete formwork set DN160, the connection coupling DN160, the inspection plug DN160 as well as the tee DN160 163 x 68 mm are available.

Be it on the wall, ceiling or in the floor, in a single-family home, for renovation or floor distribution: With the new FRÄNKISCHE profi-air flat manifold 6-fold, the installers now have one manifold for all installation situations – and so far the first flat manifold made of plastic for installation in in-situ concrete ceilings and on filigree ceiling.
