Dezincification-resistant brass

Dezincification is a form of corrosion which, e.g., brass is prone to. It is important that the parts (e.g. fittings) that come into contact with drinking water are made of dezincification-resistant brass. Dezincification-resistant brass is achieved by means of a special alloy composition and thermal treatment.
