Building drainage

The objective is to protect the structure against different types of water (infiltration water, dammed-up water, strata water and groundwater).
The calculation and dimensioning of a drainage system forms the basis of each design. DIN 4095 (Planning, design and installation of drainage systems protecting structures against water in the ground) and DIN 18195 (Waterproofing of buildings) must be considered when dimensioning a system.
