Heat recovery ventilation
In May 2017, the first passive house of the city was completed in the South Korean city of Chuncheon. It was fitted with profi-air, the complete system for heat recovery ventilation (HRV) by FRÄNKISCHE. The profi-air 250 touch ventilation unit and the profi-air classic pipe were used. The building is a wooden house by Fjorborg, a German manufacturer of prefabricated houses that specialises in timber construction. Since it is the first passive house in the city, it attracts many interested people who want to get information on passive houses and sustainable construction.
